Monica McCafferty?

Monica McCafferty is a communications and public affairs consultant who works with organizations to shape public perception, protect reputation, and navigate complex regulatory and policy environments.

Raised in Iowa, Monica brings a Midwest work ethic rooted in reliability, direct communication, and follow-through. She later founded her firm while living in New York City, where she sharpened her ability to operate in fast-paced, high-stakes environments and support teams under pressure.

For more than two decades, Monica has partnered with organizations across healthcare, advocacy, public policy, and highly regulated industries — including Planned Parenthood, the Vail Valley Partnership and American Trade Association for Cannabis and Hemp. Her background also includes agency experience at Ogilvy and R&R Partners, where she supported brands operating under tight timelines and public scrutiny.
Monica advises clients on crisis communications, public relations, brand management, and coalition-driven campaigns. She works as a remote consultant and embeds seamlessly within teams, offering strategic support tailored to each organization’s goals, structure, and moment.

Outside of work, Monica spends her time skiing, practicing yoga, and walking her dog, Cowboy. She is currently learning to surf.
